July 28, 2004: Dad’s Pet Care selects Account Review for Closed-Loop Trade Promotion Management.

We are proud to be able to announce the addition of Dad’s Pet Care as one of our Synectics Group’s newest clients. Dad’s has selected Account Review for true closed-loop trade promotion management, including planning, budgeting, payments, deduction resolution, and post-promotion analysis. As with all our clients, Account Review will be tightly integrated with their ERP and other internal systems.

Many families have wonderful recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation. It just so happens that the recipes handed down in the Lang family are for great tasting pet foods.

In 1933, George "Dad" Lang's Springer had a surprisingly large litter of pups -- eleven! At the time, commercial dog food cost five cents a pound, and work (if you could find it) paid forty cents an hour. To avoid going broke feeding his new puppies, George tried making his own dog food. With an old peanut roaster, he combined "Dad's Health Wheat" ( a product his father was selling) with meat meal. The result was a biscuit dogs thrived on, and a tradition was born. After three generations of Langs, DAD'S is still a favorite of breeders of champion dogs and cats, as well as of people who simply treasure their pets.

DAD'S Pet Foods maintains a special test kitchen at their Creekside Nutrition Center to make sure that the products produced there will help keep your dog and cat happy and healthy. DAD'S staffs their nutrition center with a team of veterinarians and nutritionists who serve the latest DAD'S dishes to some of the luckiest dogs and cats around.
