February 11, 2008: Synectics Group continues 23 year history of free TPM software upgrades.
With today’s software release of the Account Review software, Synectics Group continues its 23 year history of using our client’s enhancement requests to provide frequent software upgrades that are free to our entire user base. The Synectics Group upgrade methodology enables our clients to utilize new versions of our software without re-integration work by our clients’ IT departments. In most cases, the upgrade process is actually transparent to our user base.
Ray Osborn, Senior VP of Operations, is excited about this year’s scheduled enhancements. “Over the past five years, we have re-engineered our entire software development process using industry best-practices with the goal of making every software upgrade flawless and uneventful for thousands of users. That goal is critically important because we have more than twice the number of live CPG clients in true closed-loop TPM production as our nearest competitor.” Ray adds, “Last year alone we added approximately 27 major enhancements and 40 minor enhancements, but last year’s excellent results will be dwarfed by this year’s development schedule utilizing the Microsoft .Net framework and SQL Server development tools.
